Scheduling Coordinator

It is my smiling face which will greet you by name and welcome you to our practice. I handle appointment scheduling and reminders and am eager to answer any questions you might have about dental care.

I am certain you’ll enjoy (yes, enjoy!) your visits at Northwest Dental. Dr. Smart is an exceptional dentist who takes time to listen and learn what you need from him, and our team members are skilled, gentle, and friendly.

When not working, I love being with my best friend, my husband Byron (Motorcycle Santa). We’ve been married for more than 40 years and have three adult children and one three-legged German Shepherd, Jake. I enjoy gardening, going to the movies, and being with family and friends. I’m also a member of a local Old Car Club. And, on my days off in the summer – believe it or not – I drive heavy equipment!

Financial Coordinator

Welcome! I’m the go-to person for everything related to the financial end of your dental care. I’ll work with you to find a payment arrangement that fits your budget and I’ll handle the insurance paperwork, too. I enjoy making sure you’re able to maximize your benefits and dealing with the insurance companies on your behalf.

My free-time is very family centered. I’m married and have three kids: two teens and a toddler. We enjoy going to the coast, love all of Oregon’s many lakes and rivers, and like working in our yard and just hanging out.

Dental Hygienist

Hey there! I look forward to meeting you and helping you to care for your dental health. I graduated from Lane Community College in 2019. I am a licensed dental hygienist who is able to administer nitrous oxide and perform restorative functions, which allows me to place fillings as needed. Prior to becoming a hygienist, I worked as a dental assistant and dental office administrator. Getting to know patients on an individual basis is the highlight of my day!

Here at Northwest Dental we strive to help patients understand their oral condition and the role they play in their dental wellness and overall whole body health.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter. We have a pet hedgehog named Millie and Bob the fish. We enjoy camping, road trips, completing projects around our home and spending time with family.

Dental Hygienist

I look forward to meeting and helping you attain optimal dental health! I offer preventive care, including gentle cleanings, and a lot of education. I know the better you understand your unique oral health concerns the more empowered you are to take control of your smile’s health. Seeing a healthy mouth at a recall visit makes me smile!

Everyone at Northwest Dental is dedicated to providing the best care possible and building a relationship with you. We are serious about the work we do, and helping others, but don’t take ourselves too seriously!

In my free time you’ll often find me with my boyfriend, Rian. When home I like painting and drawing, and love escaping into a book. I also love to go camping, play pool, float the river, and listen to music, especially concerts and live performances.

Welcome to our office! I graduated from LBCC dental assisting program in 2005 and joined Northwest Dental in 2015. I assist Dr. Smart with treatment and make sure our patients are as comfortable as possible. There’s nothing better than seeing patients who are happy with their smiles!

I feel very fortunate to work at Northwest Dental. Not only do we have a lot of fun together, but we really do give patients quality dental care.

At home, I enjoy spending time with my husband, son, daughter, and two dogs. We love being out on our boat or camping.

Hello! I attended Linn Benton C.C. Accredited Dental Assisting Program in 2005 and became a part of Northwest Dental in 2009. I am here to provide great care to our patients and assist Dr. Smart with anything he needs to create an outstanding patient experience. My greatest goal is to ensure our patients’ comfort so they leave with a smile!

Our office is a special place, where everyone is treated like family. Our team genuinely enjoys each other’s company—something I believe our patients can tell the moment they walk into the office.

I have been married to Nathan for 15 years, and have two boys, Aiden and Ezra, as well as two adorable family dogs. When I have free time, I enjoy the outdoors, working out, and coaching high school softball.

Welcome! I recently graduated from Linn Benton Community College’s accredited Dental Assisting program while also obtaining my associate’s degree in general studies. I was fortunate enough to become a part of Northwest Dental’s team in the summer of 2019. I assist Dr. Smart with treatment and make sure our patients are well taken care of. We do such a wide range of treatment here at Northwest Dental. There’s something different every day, and that’s what makes my job so much fun!

Here at Northwest Dental we truly are a family, everyone gets along well and we all have the same goal in mind, making sure our patients receive the best quality of care. I look forward to coming to work everyday and seeing the smiles on patient’s faces.

In my free time I enjoy going to concerts and movies. I also love working on various different art projects and travelling to new places.
